Работа с системой входа, которая проверяет подлинность пользователя и убивает сеанс, но в настоящее время он не распознает переменные, назначенные сеансу. После нажатия кнопки выхода все кажется, что он работает, но при прямом подключении к странице участников, введя его в адресную строку, он загружает страницу вместо перенаправления на страницу входа.

ваша страница выхода должна быть такой:

Проблема в том, что вы не уничтожили session поэтому сеанс существует, когда вы возвращаетесь на страницу.
Также вы смотрите на проверку $_SESSION['username'] но вы не задали $_SESSION['email'] который никогда не будет работать.
